What is "personal information"?
For the purposes of this Covenant Health Careers Website, the personal information we collect would include any information about yourself that you submit to Covenant Health including, your name, contact information (including your personal email), education, job history, references, skills, hobbies etc.
Personal Information may be Stored outside Canada
Please note as mentioned above, Covenant Health online recruitment service is provided by a third party agent, Taleo, a corporation which may perform activities outside Canada. As a result, your personal information may be used, stored, or accessed in other countries and therefore may be subject to the laws of those countries. For example, personal information may be disclosed in response to valid demands or requests from government authorities, courts, or law enforcement in these countries.
Retention of your Profile
In our experience, people who create a candidate profile with Covenant Health and/or express an interest in being made aware of employment opportunities within Covenant Health appreciate being considered for all opportunities and being informed of all opportunities until such time as they specifically express their wish to be removed from these lists. As such, please note by entering your email address and submitting your personal information through this Careers Website you acknowledge and agree your profile with Covenant Health will be retained and you will continue to receive information about employment opportunities from Covenant Health until such time as you contact us to have your profile deleted and/or that you no longer wish to be notified of employment opportunities. Covenant Health has retention standards designed to meet applicable legal requirements and will securely destroy or delete all personal information once it is no longer required.

Addressing Your Concerns
By submitting each application, you will be authorizing Covenant Health to contact any supplied references for information regarding your qualifications, experience and suitability for employment by Covenant Health. This authorization applies to all information which you may supply in the job application process. You further authorize the supplied references to disclose information on your qualifications, experience and suitability to Covenant Health for the purpose of the application process. I may revoke this authorization at any time by emailing careers@covenanthealth.ca and indicating my name, address, and competition number that I have applied on. A copy of the authorization will be as valid as the original.
At any point in time you may request to have an application that you have submitted removed from a competition or your Applicant Profile removed from our application system by contacting the Contact Centre at 1-877-511-4455.
